Makentse Mampeule

Co-Founder

Makentse was born and raised in Daveyton, a township from Benoni in Johannesburg. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, as well as a Human Resources diploma - her passion for making a difference in people’s lives inspired her to pursue a career in Human Resources.

After holding positions at SASRIA and Werksmans Attorneys, Mampeule decided to become a stay-at-home-mom when she had her two boys. However, her learning did not stop there—during this time she obtained a certificate in Early Childhood Development from Harvard University.

Currently, Makentse balances her life between being a mother, entrepreneur, philanthropist, and CEO of the Mampeule Foundation. She also runs a small business called LAMBENT by Makentse, which specialises in scented candles and home fragrances.
