Meet The Team

Rali Mampeule

Founder

Rali Mampeule is considered one of South Africa’s leading Real Estate entrepreneurs, with over 20 years experience in Real Estate.

He is the CEO and founder of the South African Housing and Infrastructure Fund (SAHIF) a $1billion fund. He is a member of Forbes Real Estate Council and has been in the Real Estate industry for 20 years.

Rali graduated from Harvard University in the United States where he studied in the Advanced Management Development Program (AMDP) in Real Estate.

In 2019, he was awarded the Socio-Economic Impact Award by the South African Institute of Black Property Practitioners (SAIBPP)

Rali studied for a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) degree from the University of South Africa (UNISA)

Rali was also awarded the 2008 Africa Heritage Society (AHS) "Emerging Entrepreneur of the year".

He was the winner of the 2006/7 South African "Nedbank Property Professional of the year.

Makentse Mampeule

Co-Founder

Makentse was born and raised in Daveyton, a township from Benoni in Johannesburg. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, as well as a Human Resources diploma - her passion for making a difference in people’s lives inspired her to pursue a career in Human Resources.

After holding positions at SASRIA and Werksmans Attorneys, Mampeule decided to become a stay-at-home-mom when she had her two boys. However, her learning did not stop there—during this time she obtained a certificate in Early Childhood Development from Harvard University.

Currently, Makentse balances her life between being a mother, entrepreneur, philanthropist, and CEO of the Mampeule Foundation. She also runs a small business called LAMBENT by Makentse, which specialises in scented candles and home fragrances.

Lebogang Tsebetsebe

Operations Coordinator

Lebogang is a graduate from the University of Pretoria with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) majoring in English Studies.

During her studies at the University of Pretoria, she immersed herself in organisations such as CHOC, Childhood Cancer Foundation SA; Blue Palm Society & Charity Organisation, where she chaired on the board for two years as a Social Media & Events Manager; volunteering at The Mamelodi Initiate, an NPO commissioned to uplift the youth of Mamelodi; as well as at City Press, where she spent three years interning in the journalism department.

Shortly after her graduation, she diversified her skillset into Public Relations and television, where she worked as a Production Coordinator. Currently, Lebogang is completing her second degree in Environmental and Development Studies.
